[Khmer Times]: The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have exchanged views on financial sector resilience amid shifting global economic dynamics.

Chea Serey, Governor of the NBC, received an IMF delegation led by Kenichiro Kashiwase, IMF Mission Chief for Cambodia, at the central bank’s Wat Phnom building, on Wednesday.

The meeting was part of the IMF working group’s annual mission to the country.

In the meeting, NBC Governor and the Head of Mission exchanged views on the evolution of the economic and financial situation, challenges, and measures of Cambodia’s central bank to maintain the stability of the banking system and support sustainable economic growth.
